Is it safe to connect my Google account?
Yes. We use standard Google OAuth, the same flow you'd use to connect Zapier or Notion to your Google account. We only request the scopes we actually need: Search Console read access and Analytics read access. Your OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest on our servers and never shared with third parties. We never see your Google password, and you can revoke access at any time from your Google account security settings.
Where is my data stored?
Your site configuration and cached tool results are stored in our secure cloud database (PostgreSQL, encrypted at rest). Your Google OAuth tokens are stored encrypted on our servers and never shared with third parties. We don't sell or share your analytics data.
How is this different from ChatGPT with a GSC plugin?
ChatGPT plugins fetch and format data. You get the same table you'd see in Search Console, and you still have to figure out what it means. How do I connect Google Search Console and GA4?
Sign in with Google at thatseoagent.com. You'll authorize via a standard Google OAuth consent screen, the same flow as any app requesting GSC access. Takes about 30 seconds. Your GA4 property ID can be added from your account settings.
Can I analyze client sites?
Yes. Add each client site in your account settings. You'll need to be added as a user in their Google Search Console and GA4 properties, or they can connect directly via their own Google account.
What does my AI assistant do with the MCP tools?
Your AI uses the 57 tools on-demand during your conversations. When you ask about rankings, it calls gsc_search_analytics. When you ask about page speed, it calls pagespeed_insights. The tools are available but only invoked when relevant. Your AI decides which data to pull based on your question.
